Last Thursday our 4-6 grade students got the VIP treatment from Learn Fresh, NBA Math Hoops, and the Denver Nuggets! We were invited to Ball Arena where we got to go on the Nuggets practice court to play Math Hoops live! The extra special twist? The kids could take the shot themselves, OR they could ask a special guest to shoot for them. And what awesome guests they were! DaRon Holmes II the nuggets first round draft pick and power forward, Bill Hanzlik former nugget and current Altitude TV Analyst, Chris Dempsey nuggets reporter and analyst, and Vic Lombardi nuggets reporter and host, as well as two members of the Nuggets dance team! Plus Coaches Stephan and Hunter from Learn Fresh. All of these guests were amazing, taking time to talk with students and help them with shots. They talked about math in basketball and team work, and then every kid received a bag full of Nuggets swag including autographs! Lots more pictures and videos in the comments because there were so many great moments!

Congratulations Addison!

We are so proud of our Cougar Athletes! Congratulations and well deserved!
