Lainee Nein of Revere High School is our SCHEELS Impact Player of the Month for the month of February! Not only has Lainee excelled as a three sport athlete, she is also her class president and involved in FFA and National Honor Society. Leading SCC’s basketball team with 1,000 career points and 16 points per game this year, Lainee’s work ethic and dedication have encouraged her peers in sports and beyond. Lainee’s hard work has an impact on all her peers on and off the court.

Happy 100th Day! 3-6 grades solved 100 math problems to earn 100 puzzle pieces to complete a puzzle. On the back was a secret message where they had to go get a clue and then find a hidden safe and figure out the 3 digit code! The treasure? 100 Grand of course!

Our Anatomy & Physiology students took learning beyond the textbook and into the lab as they dissected a calf’s heart — the closest in structure to the human heart! 🫀

They carefully explored and identified the different parts of the heart, explained the function of each structure, and connected it to how our own hearts work. Taking it a step further, they shared their knowledge with visiting elementary, middle school, and high school students — giving them the chance to see, hold, and feel an actual heart for a hands-on learning experience!

4th grade used their fraction skills to make soup using only one measuring cup, doing math to figure out how many scoops of each ingredient to get to the correct amount. They also practiced reading a recipe and some cooking terms!
