Today 17 students competed in the 2026 Revere Spelling Bee for the right to compete at the regional bee in Brush next week. We had a fantastic bee with over 100 words spelled! Our Grade 9 Physical Science students became junior engineers! 🎯They designed and built different catapult models to explore projectile motion, measuring how launch angle, force, and tension affect the range of their projectiles.

This hands-on project showed them how the laws of physics—kinematics, gravity, and parabolic motion—govern real-world trajectories, from sports like basketball to engineering structures and even aerospace applications.

It’s amazing to see them experiment, analyze data, and apply theory to practice, thinking like real scientists with every launch! 🔬✨
