Our 7th Grade Science students became mini ecologists with their ecosystem projects! 🌱🌍 They designed their own ecosystems, clearly showing biotic and abiotic factors and how these parts interact to keep life balanced.

From plants, animals, and decomposers to sunlight, water, soil, and air—each model tells a story of connection and interdependence. This project helped them see that ecosystems aren’t just concepts in a book, but living systems where every factor matters.

Our Grade 11 Chemistry students are diving deep into organic chemistry! 🧪✨ They’re learning how to name functional groups and draw both full structural and skeletal formulas—skills that might seem tricky at first, but are so essential.

Understanding functional groups isn’t just memorization—it’s the key to predicting chemical behavior, reactions, and properties of molecules. By practicing this now, they’re building a strong foundation for college chemistry, lab work, and even real-world applications like pharmaceuticals, materials, and environmental science.

It’s amazing to see them analyzing molecules, connecting structures, and thinking like chemists, one formula at a time!

Just a reminder to Revere families: There WILL BE school on Monday January 12, and NO SCHOOL on Friday January 16! We will be having a scheduled teacher Inservice on Friday.

Our 3-6 grade students have been working on a stem challenge to design a parachute to drop Santa safely if he falls out of his sleigh. Each team had a budget and item list to work with to create the slowest, most accurate, and safest parachute they could to transport a chocolate Santa! Today we held the final competition off the bridge in the cafeteria. Thank you to Alexa, Paige, and Caiden for being our judges! Big congratulations to: 3rd place Kade Walmsley and Avery Jones, 2nd place Callie Tharp and Rylynn Smith, and our grand champions Tucker Michel and Deacon Blagg!
