The Sedgwick County Girls Volleyball team was recognized on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 by the Honorable Greg Lopez. This recognition comes after the program’s third state championship in four years. Congressman Lopez noted the team’s teamwork and determination which will serve as an inspiration for future generations of high school athletes. Congratulations to the student-athletes in the Girls Volleyball program on this national recognition!

Our 7th grade social studies students recently wrapped up a chapter on economics, government, and judicial systems. They had the opportunity to visit the Morgan County Justice Center! During the visit, students explored the workings of the judicial system and learned so much from the judicial officials who took the time to share their knowledge and experiences. Thank you Mrs. Shank for providing them with this opportunity!

Thank you so much to Brandy Welch for coming in to teach our 6th grade STEAM class how to make wire wrapped jewelry. The class was excellent and all of our students are so proud of their work. We are keeping the finished projects "under wraps" and hidden since they plan to gift these for Christmas! We will post pictures after the New Year!
