3… 2… 1… BLAST OFF! 🚀

Our Grade 8 scientists took learning to new heights by designing, building, and launching their own water-powered rockets to demonstrate Newton’s Three Laws of Motion!

Using water, a bicycle pump, and a cork, students explored the fascinating science behind rocket propulsion! As students pumped air into the rocket, the compressed air increased the internal pressure while the cork kept it sealed. When released, the pressurized air pushed the water downward, creating an equal and opposite reaction that propelled the rocket skyward—a perfect demonstration of Newton’s Third Law of Motion! They also explored how inertia, force, mass, and acceleration influence a rocket’s flight.

This hands-on experiment proved that science is more than just theories and equations—it is about curiosity, discovery, creativity, and bringing learning to life!

Small rockets, powerful forces, BIG discoveries! Who knows? We might just be launching the next generation of rocket scientists!

When Science Rises to the Occasion! 🍞

Who knew baking bread could be a delicious science experiment?

Our Grade 7 scientists explored alcoholic fermentation (anaerobic respiration) by putting active yeast to work! As yeast breaks down sugar without oxygen, it produces carbon dioxide (CO₂) and ethanol (alcohol). The CO₂ gets trapped in the dough, causing it to rise, while most of the alcohol evaporates during baking!

From microscopic yeast to freshly baked bread, our young scientists discovered that science isn't just learned—it's mixed, kneaded, observed, and tasted!
